Fixing Homes to Correcting Mindsets

Meet Peter Bates

A practical man with a deep understanding of the human subconscious.

A Foundation Built on Real-World Experience

For years, Peter was a specialist in the trades. Fitting kitchens, bathrooms, and high-spec wetrooms. He knew that if the foundation isn’t right, nothing else would hold. Throughout that career, he carried a parallel passion: a fascination with hypnotherapy and the belief that most adult issues are simply echoes of childhood foundations.

Professional Expertise You Can Trust

Peter is a fully qualified hypnotherapist and a member of the International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT) and the Complementary Medical Association (CMA). He uses a combination of Hypnotherapy, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to provide practical, lasting solutions.

Lived Experience, Not Just Theory

Peter doesn’t just teach these techniques. He has lived them. His professional journey began after he used self-hypnosis to successfully break a life-long, 80-a-day smoking habit. Seeing that level of transformation first-hand changed everything. After raising his four children, he dedicated himself to helping others achieve that same sense of liberation and control.

Practical Solutions for Modern Life

Peter is constantly developing new titles to address the evolving challenges of modern life. His collection covers a vast range of emotional and developmental milestones. From mastering sleep and managing anger to navigating high-pressure periods like exams.
Rather than a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach, Peter continues to expand his library to ensure that for every hurdle an individual faces, there is a specific, practical tool ready to help them correct their mindset.

The Man Behind it all

Peter’s understanding of the human ‘foundation’ doesn’t just come from books. It comes from 37 years of marriage and the beautiful chaos of a large family. As a father of four and a grandfather to seven, he has seen every stage of the journey firsthand.

When he isn’t helping people correct their mindsets, Peter is usually surrounded by family or his two Tibetan Terriers (and the ‘grand-dog’). He knows the pressure of modern family life because he lives it. He isn’t a distant academic. He’s a husband, a dad, and a grandad who uses these exact tools to keep his own world turning.
